New weekend flights from Turku to Gdansk

A second airline is now offering flights from Turku to Gdansk, Poland. Jet Air, a Polish operator, flies its new international route between the two cities on Fridays and Sundays. Tailored for weekend travellers to Gdansk, the flight departs from Turku on Fridays at 9 p.m. arriving in Gdansk at 10 p.m. The return flight departs on Sundays at 6 p.m. arriving in Turku at 9 p.m.

 

Jet Air has at the same time combined the inauguration of its new route with co-operation with Wingo xprs, operating Wingo’s Turku–Tampere–Oulu route from Monday to Friday. The Turku–Oulu route is now being served by a larger aircraft, the ATR 42, and the flight time via Tampere is 1 hour 45 minutes. The schedule is tailored for business travellers, with the flights from Turku to Oulu departing at 6.00 a.m. and 4.20 p.m., and from Oulu to Turku at 8.10 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Wingo is now offering a new service flying from Turku to Tampere.

 

Wingo xprs is a predominantly Finnish-owned company based in Turku where its principal ground services are located at Turku Airport.
