Press release
Läänin Kuljetus comes to LogiCity26.11.2007 Läänin Kuljetus Oy has leased a 3.3 hectare lot in LogiCity to build terminal facilities with a total floor space of 16,000 square metres. The logistics operator is to expand its core business into warehousing and terminal operations and will offer complete tailored logistics solutions for customers wishing to gain value added from efficient logistics. “LogiCity’s regional concept is an ideal match for our core business and future needs,” says Läänin Kuljetus Managing Director Martti Nieminen.
Construction of the company’s new logistics complex will commence next year and proceed stage by stage from around 3,000 square metres. Precise plans for the following phases will be finalised to meet the needs of future partners and while it is still too early to go into detail, Mr Nieminen points out that there is already demand for terminal and warehouse hotel operations in the company’s new complex. Läänin Kuljetus is a welcome addition to the LogiCity cluster, preceded just a few months earlier by Kaukokiito’s decision to build a terminal at LogiCity.
