25.10.2007
Virtual airline Wingo xprs will start flying the Turku–Tampere–Oulu route in January 2008. The company’s schedules, prices and terms are designed specifically with business travellers in mind.
“Turku and Tampere to Oulu are among the busiest business routes in Finland,” says Managing Director Ronald Grönlund on the airline’s choice of route. Wingo works with partner airline Air Åland and the flights will be operated by UAB Nordic Solutions Air Services with a Saab 340 twin-turboprop carrying 33 passengers.
Wingo xprs was founded in July 2007 and is owned by Finnish companies Eriksson Capital and Touch N’ Go, and Swedish companies Tamares Holding Sweden and Scanproducts.
