LogiCity – Finnish municipal marketing Champion

Pilot Turku Ltd’s LogiCity launch has won the Finnish Municipal Marketing Championship
LogiCity was declared the winner in the tightly contested competitiveness category.
The jury’s assessment of the LogiCity launch was as follows:
“The LogiCity launch implemented by Pilot Turku Ltd has accelerated the relocation of companies gaining value added from efficient logistics in the business district to be built around Turku Airport. Marketing and communications have been directed at Finnish and international companies considering relocation or who might benefit from it, at regional and national decision makers, and the media.”
“The LogiCity concept has tackled a clear marketing objective with a bold, innovative and long-term approach, chosen the direction for development, selected partners and target groups, and produced impressive marketing. Similar marketing activities are used to promote competitiveness elsewhere – whatever the chosen strength of the particular region.”
As a result of its victory, Pilot Turku Ltd will receive significant funding for a campaign to be conducted with the competition’s partner companies, including Helsingin Sanomat, Yhtyneet Kuvalehdet/Suomen Kuvalehti and Hansaprint Oy.
