A new approach to resolving labour problems

Official projections indicate that LogiCity will in due course employ around 5,000 people. We recognise that the labour needs of the different kinds of business closely linked to logistics typically vary a great deal in even a single day, so LogiCity is looking to ensure the supply of skilled labour via a newly cost-efficient operating model.

The goal is to develop the availability of labour and expertise in its provision yet further, focusing in particular on supply chain requirements. This will enable companies located in the LogiCity area to benefit from the synergies that come with the presence of specialist businesses and the variety of their labour needs.

The development project has brought on board the employment authorities, training sector and companies providing labour services in the Turku region.
